Head Chef - Mildura

A café located in the vibrant city of Mildura is currently looking for a Head Chef to manage all venue operations and lead a committed team in delivering an outstanding experience for its patrons. This is a full-time role offering competitive compensation.

What you'll be doing

·       Supervising and mentoring venue staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

·       Ensuring consistent adherence to food preparation, presentation, and service standards

·       Enhancing the existing menu offerings

·       Managing inventory, controlling costs, and implementing food waste reduction strategies

·       Focus on the team delivering seamless customer service.

What we're looking for

·       Minimum 2 years as Head Chef or similar senior role

·       Formal culinary training or qualifications

·       Expertise in Asian cuisines and techniques

·       Strong leadership and team management skills

·       Excellent communication and customer service focus

·       Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

 Salary:

• An attractive salary of between $80,000 - $90,000 per year, is on offer for the right candidate.
