As Head Chef, you will be entrusted with overseeing all venue operations, from the kitchen to the front-of-house. You will lead a dedicated team that shares your passion for delivering an exceptional experience to every guest.
This is a full time role, based in Mildura.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years as Head Chef or similar senior role
Expertise in Asian cuisines and techniques
Culinary creativity: Proven ability to conceive and execute inventive dishes that delight and surprise guests.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, nurturing talent, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Menu development: Experience designing and implementing menus that showcase seasonal produce and reflect diverse culinary influences.
Operational expertise: Strong understanding of kitchen management, food safety, and cost controls.
Passion for hospitality: Genuine enthusiasm for connecting with patrons and creating memorable experiences.
Excellent communication: Ability to work seamlessly with all venue staff, management, and suppliers.
Problem solving: Adaptability and creativity in overcoming challenges and seizing new opportunities.
Commitment to quality: Unwavering standards for food preparation, hygiene, and presentation.
Formal culinary training or qualifications
Salary:
A full time, attractive salary of between $80,000 - $90,000 per year, is on offer for the right candidate.
